This cult comedy film was shot on Kodak Vision super 16 mm film. "American Guys" gained a following from cable vod with TVN broadcasting and internet. This feature starring Thomas Wilson Brown (Honey I Shrunk The Kids, Silverado) and Bernie Coulson (The Accused, Loverboy) has had well over three hundred thousand views and was featured on many labels including Cinemanow.com, Big Star.tv.,and Netflix.. It was featured in the top ten on IFilm.net and Cinemanow for several months.The original negative will be re-transferred to HD and be re-leased for distribution for a new generation.

With special appearances from classic actress Diana Darrin (1950s “The Three Stooges”, “The Incredible Shrinking Man”, The Broken Land starring Diana Darrin and Jack Nicholson) and Charles Fleischer (“Zodiac”, “Who Framed Roger Rabbit”).
Cinematography for the film is by Ryan Jackson-Healy whose current film ”Mass” premiered last year at the Sundance Film Festival and was nominated for a Spirit Award. The original score is by burgeoning composer Sterling Maffe who interned and was mentored by multi-award winning composer Hans Zimmer. Cognitive won best drama feature in the Another Hole In The Head film festival and won best screenplay and best editing in the Sin City Horror Fest in Las Vegas. Cognitive is selected in WorldFest Houston and will be playing at Cinemark in Houston, Saturday 7 pm, April 29th 2023.
